Somewhat Unofficial Mascot for furudango.com
Yeah, it’s been lurking about in the banner for awhile now I believe. And I finally make my first post @_@;

This be Caramelle, designed her around March early this year, maybe April , I mean it has been awhile >3>;;
Her design was based on my girlfriend Jaime. The outfit was inspired by my shared interest with Jaime for cat girls, swimsuit girls and maids. Though I didn’t add an apron since I felt it kinda detracted from her cuteness in a way and the gloves as well as the neck bow did a good enough job to portray a maid like look.
Drawing was done on paper then scanned onto Photoshop CS2 where I cleaned and coloured it. Logo was thanks to my sister Koshiko, sankyuu <3

Firstly, her face looks male. However, it can be universally applied, so that is fine.
Secondly, I have to question the size of her breasts. I have no idea why you want them this big. But if you like it this way, I guess there is no real reason not go along with it.
Lastly, features are a bit plain, but this is largely subjective as well. You might want to, if you are interested in making her a full-fledged mascot, draw her in different poses and costumes.

I suppose the manly face mostly stems from her small eyes. I’ll make them bigger next time.
Well, I’m planning on making them C cup so yeah, it’ll be smaller. Also if I remember correctly Haruhi was C cup as well.
Yeah I realize it’s plainness, plan on doing some more poses

Well it’s nice that you even have a mascot. I’ve considered making one myself but I’m not the creative type.

Good work :)! Did you colour her on the computer on or paper? If it’s on paper, that’s pretty impressive! Since your site is named furudango, I thought your mascot would be a dango XD. But hey, all good.

Thanks. I coloured her on computer, but drew her on paper first as I’ve mentioned in the article. Lol, well, nah, I rather keep my dangos on logos and instead go for personification. Thanks again for your comment

Actually, not bad! I like the expression, hehe. Tho I’d typically expect a more anime-styled mascot for an anime blog. Would u or your sis grant permission if I ever tried my own anime interpretation in the foreseeable future?

Thanks, I tend to enjoy drawing expressions more. Well I suppose a more anime styled mascot would be better. Technically however it’s not really an anime blog, so far it’s mostly Japanese culture.
Sure, I don’t mind if you do, as long as it’s credited of course, which you do that anyways.

Well I plan on making the eyes bigger. Slimmer body I’m not quite sure about though… ’cause well, it’s a natural body type for a 16-18 year old non-Asian girl. Thanks for the comment.
