Madman specials and our order
News Flash~!
Madman is having a huge sale at this very moment!
I was kinda bummed when I sent a few Gundam links to my brother but it turned out they were out of stock… was I too late in visiting? The problem was Madman doesn’t label their email properly, it says from ‘newsletter’ and the title didn’t mention it either, just something along the lines of ‘Otaku wear’, actually, here’s the full title as it was written:
from: newsletter – OTAKUWEAR AND COLLECTABLES CLEARANCE SALE!
Anyhow, managed to visit it earlier and woah, quite a few rare figures =o go have a look now! And click the ‘read more’ to find out what my brother and I ordered for ourselves ;3
Fwee~ our very first ‘proper’ figures order, Shin buys all his Gundams in Sydney and the only figure I’ve bought was at Smash , a Haruhi Nendoroid, which you can see on my About page.
While not huge fans of the Evangelion series, it was one of the first anime series we ever watched [during its first screening on SBS] and so will always have some sort of special meaning to us. Plus we’re artists and love figures in general for inspiration ;3
As for Yagami Light, I prefer L, but Light has a more flexible outfit, you can take his jacket off :3 I’ve been wanting a Ball-jointed doll for ages so when this one came up at only $150, I jumped at the chance [my brother actually pointed it out, I missed it while browsing xD;;]. For a good quality BJ Doll, you’re looking at over $500 for a standard version, even more for limited or special editions.
Once our loot arrives, I’ll be sure to take lots of photos and such so keep an eye out~ ;3

I see u ordered the Tsuruya-san figure. U will love it as out of the whole Max Factory Haruhi set, she is still the nicest one out of them all.
The thing I love about Madman is their shipping price. Not matter many items u buy, their shipping price does not change.

Ah, I’m glad he was able to. She really is a true beauty. ^^
I’m not sure how Madman does it but who would complain? They have my vote for the cheapest shipping rate in Aus.
Oh crap, I just had a look at the Alter Yuki Swimsuit figure. I really shouldn’t. >_>

It seems I stayed up all night, lol~ But yeah, looking forward to getting my loot~ Had to select ‘money order’ though so I haven’t quite paid for it yet, taking care of that today :3
Yeah, you really shouldn’t… <_ <... >_>… *buys* xD; I looked, but I guess Tsuruya & Rei won. Plus I’m not much of a swim-suit fan so…~
@K: Ah, Evangelion! I think I’ve got about a half-dozen figures of Rei + Asuka, lol… As for preventing deleted posts, just throw a Tare-Danny t-shirt on top of it, haha. Problem solved. >_<

Hehe, I bought some stuff from here. :) Pity the girls’ shirts turned out to be long (hate long shirts -_-) and far too small. Sigh. Gave them to my brother. -wry-
Was gonna buy more but lazyy. A lot of random stuff was on the list too..I think I remember tons of Transformers. XD Maybe. Hehe.

Hmm, when did you order them? I heard it takes a while with Madman, would be doubly true since there’s the big sale going on…

Maybe the day before this post? It seems the figures were back-ordered but I don’t mind so much since they were cheaper than expected, plus I still need to clean up my room to make space for them xD;;
Which reminds me, I really should make a post on the ones I’ve received already lol~
