Daily Life: Package Arrival

Surprise~!
I certainly was pleasantly surprised yesterday when I got a package in the mail as I had forgotten all about it xD;;. Since I was so so busy yesterday (still am actually u_u~), I didn’t blog about it so…~

Ok, while I have no idea how to speak, read or write in japanese, I do download scanlations. Most of what I’ve read seems to come from Asuka, but I’ve missed a few issues throughout the past few months. I figured it would be easier if I just subscribed for 6 months instead. My way of supporting hard-working artists :3
This month’s issue (August, why so early? I has no idea @_@;), is #8. As far I can tell, they’re celebrating their 23rd anniversary and it comes with a CD (which I haven’t listened to yet), and a pencil board (shitajiki) from the series “Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru” otherwise known as “Betrayal Knows My Name” by ODAGIRI Hotaru, apparently it’s shounen ai, so haven’t read it nor do I think I will ^^;
Do you subscribe to a foreign magazine? Do you understand it? (I don’t, doesn’t stop me from admiring the art though ;P~).
I’ve also picked up random ones when they’re on special (generally at around 70% off =o). I’ll post a few photos of those and the goodies they came with (if I kept them together ^^;) soon if you’re interested.
If you would like to subscribe to any japanese magazines, visit Kinokuniya for more information =D.
Warning: the magazine list seems to have disappeared, I’ve sent an email and will update once I find out more. If you’d like to subscribe to Asuka as well, I can post up more information on how you can too if you’re not sure how to yourself, just leave a comment ^_~

Wow, thank you for the tip! I’ve always wanted to suscribe to foreign magazines but, never actually got round to doing anything about it ^^;

Welcome Suki~
No worries, you’re very welcome ^_~
Though, it would be more expensive if there isn’t a store near by, Kino is an hour trip away so I can’t afford to visit just to find out if they have a copy.

I though I left a reply earlier, must’ve gotten eaten u_u
Welcome Lucca~ you didn’t leave an email so I could reply as I don’t know if you’ll visit again for an answer.
I got it from Kinokuniya in Sydney, in this case I ordered it via subscription for 6 months, that’s 6 issues. You have to pay in advance with a credit card if you don’t live in Sydney, I was able to pay for it with cash at the store.
