Daily Life: Kinokuniya Loot
Went to city by myself on Saturday to take advantage of the 20% sale x3. Above photo is the Dengenki issue I bought for my brother, normally 580yen, but paid $15.05au at Kinokuniya orz. Front cover stars a character from Yotsuba I believe.
But it was probably totally worth it for my bro, it came with a Shana shitajiki, hehe~
Click for larger view (sorry it’s blurry u_u;;).

Front I’m guessing… with the back of the special ‘Dengeki 4Koma Daioh’ compilation (front is on the first picture above ^)

The back, I prefer this side, ish cute~ =3
Who watches Shana no Shakugan? I never really got into it even though Shin watches/watched it.

Yay~ Tokyo guide <3
Measuring 106x152mm (approx. 4x6"), very compact and can probably fit in most guys' back pocket and in all girls' bags. Published by Lonely Planet, Tokyo Encounter would probably be the ideal companion to take out with you, it even has a pull out map at the back which I may scan if I get a few requests. I’m certainly taking it with me when I finally do get there… It was $18.94, but I got it for $15.15 with my membership card :3 (forgot to take a photo of the card, it’s really cool, lol… next post ^_~)
And that’s it for now… btw, would anyone be interested in a scan of the Shana shitajiki? Any other requests or questions are also welcome ^^.

I’m a big big fan of shana, so I’m unbelievably jealous hehe!
I really need to start going to sydney more often and sniff out all the good otaku places, probably a whole lot easier than buying everything online lol.
Yotsuba is a great manga! Have you read it?

Morning~!
I love the character designs from Shana, just couldn’t get into the story enough to bother watching it ^^;; Sorry, can’t have this one xP~
I’ll be writing up a guide of the places I know for my fellow Sydney otaku soon x3 Just need to get about a week’s worth of work (or 2) out of the way first orz. Hopefully that will give you more of an incentive to visit more often xD
I haven’t read Yotsuba yet u_u~ It’s licensed whereas I generally read the unlicensed stuff as I can’t afford to collect any series ^^;; I may have a sniff around as the little I did read was very good~

I’ve got one of the Japan guides from Lonely Planet. One of the best guides you can buy for Japan.
