Sydney Trip 01

June 27, 2008 · Filed Under Sydney

Finally got a chance to sit down and type this up. Actually, this is my second attempt, my first one was eaten  u_u~

I’ve also included some photos of our trip, please click to continue reading ;D

First stop was Penta computers, was hoping to pick up a pen for my Graphire 2 but found out they have to order it in, so I was like no thanks >.>;;
After that Shin and I made our way towards Market city, wanted to visit the X-Seven shop but forgot to look up their location >.<;;

Market City was our next stop for food :q Unfortunately, it hadn’t occurred to me to take photos yet, so no photos of our yummy ramen dishes u_u~ Will be sure to remember next time ^^;
Also stopped by Giordano for some washing bags, they last ages and are good for delicate items of clothing. Buy the grey or black ones though as they tend to last longer than the pink ones.

Made our way through Chinatown after that =D

Rawr~
At the exit from what I call food alley~ There’s another pair on the opposite end outside Market City. This area is always busy, you can buy clothes, shoes, asian merchandise, yummy food, sing karaoke, get drunk and then go to sleep there, lol (I don’t drink though, hehe).

On Goulburn St as we made our way towards George St, ran across these guys hehe~

It says ‘CAB’ above, would you ride in one of these? =o

Next up was Baskin Robbins~ Have never tried their ice cream so I asked Shin if he wanted to try :3

I chose the Strawberry Cheesecake one, so yummy~! :q I suggest though, that unless you have an extremely sweet tooth, don’t try this one, was so sweet xD;. Strawberry Cheesecake #2

Picked Green Tea for Shin, we each took a bite of the other but he didn’t like mine, good thing he got the Green Tea one instead, lol~

Obligatory shot of Centrepoint Tower, taken from the cnr of Gouldburn & George St.

No city trip is complete without a shot of this landmark ;D

And that’s it for today, will add the Apple Store photos later so stay tuned ^_~

    Lol nice bike cabs. I would take a ride in one of those, since I am a biker. Interesting to see how they run and stuff.

    Also, saw this on Puchi Blurbs on DC.com. Sorry I am not Aussie, but still, good luck with your blog. I guess I will be checking occasionally via Otaku.fm. :)

    I’ll be looking forward to your visits Fonzler =3 I have a few items I need to catch up on so I should be posting for at least the next 2 days in a row ^^;;

    Lol, I didn’t mean to advertise (it’s not for spaming so…), got the idea from Twitter mostly, but otherwise it does say what I’m currently doing (or was doing, hehe).

    Hope to see you at SMASH too ^_^

    No worries Kate~! I’ll be adding some information about the ones I do know soonish, I just have to get some other blog entries out of the way first to catch up ^^;;

    You can find SMASH @ http://www.smash.org.au Hope to see you there ^_~
    Btw, you can pre-register for SMASH, good if you’re sure you’re going, otherwise it’s cheap enough to show up and buy at the door ;3

    Hi Optic~ welcome =D

    I can make it to the city on average once a month ^^;; I always take the same route and it takes me through Chinatown via detour, hehe.

    I wasn’t there for the actual store opening u_u~ I should have stayed, but I’ll explain that in more details soon, I’ll be starting the entry right after I finish eating, lol.

    Lot’s of people to meet at SMASH this year~ x3 We’ll have to find a way to identify ourselves otherwise I’ll be left wondering if I ran into anyone and will feel bad if I didn’t at least say hello u_u~

    Hey, looks like you had a good time. Do you anywhere in Chinatown where they sell Anime and/or Manga? Me & some friends of mine usually go to the city to buy anime & manga at Kinokuniya, Kings Comics, Comic Kingdom & Hondarake. Do you know anywhere else in Sydney that sells Anime & Manga besides JB Hi-Fi?

    Hi Sam and welcome~
    The places you’ve listed are your best bets, otherwise keep an eye out in the future as I’ll be listing all the anime related shops that I know of in Sydney ^_~ (or to make things easier, you can enter your email in the feedburner box [top-right corner]).
